Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

When appropriate, augmentative forms of communication are introduced, including core boards, point books, PECS books and speech generating apps. As students learn to use these forms of communication, they are provided with additional support by a Speech Language Pathologist who visits each classroom weekly.
