Children receive gym weekly, whether they are tuition or identified students. In our gym we work on motor skills and children participate in a variety of physical activities including: aerobics, trampoline, miniature golf, soccer, etc. Through these activities, students work on enhancing endurance, balance, and strength. Activities are presented in a fun, teacher directed environment designed to meet each child’s fitness and motor development needs.
Note to Parents: Please remember to send your son/daughter in with sneakers on the days your child has gym. If you send your child in with boots, due to rain or snow, or even dress shoes, please send a pair of sneakers in their backpacks so we can put it on them when it is time for gym. We don’t want to have to tell them that they have to sit out, for safety reasons, because they don’t have sneakers.
